Static delivery, mirrors and edge rendering
We serve static assets — JS bundles, images, video segments, texture archives — from a small fleet of cache nodes spread over Europe. Most of what we hand out is somebody else's build output, kept close to the people who download it.
Origin storage sits in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Mirror nodes hold copies further east so a single datacenter incident does not take a customer's whole site down.
We also run a VRAY render pool: scene files go in, frames come out, the results land back in the bucket they came from. It is a small side of the business, but it pays for the transit bills.
Global Static Assets B.V. is three engineers, incorporated in the Netherlands in 2022. There is no sales department; mail goes to whichever of us is not on call that week.
Where we run
Helsinki, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Prague, Tirana, Moscow and Novosibirsk. Every node is either ours or leased bare metal — nothing sits behind a reseller.
- Static delivery
- Nginx on every cache node, ETag plus immutable Cache-Control on versioned paths, purges by mail to the NOC address.
- Mirrors
- Origin in NL, mirrors in the east. Copy lag is under 90 seconds for objects below 100 MB.
- Edge rendering
- One VRAY pool in Warsaw and two render nodes in the Rhine-Main area. Short scenes, not overnight frame farms.
