Legal, logging and abuse
Company
Global Static Assets B.V., Weena 505, 3013 AL Rotterdam, the Netherlands. KvK 87 24 93 16, VAT NL863915247B01. Run by three engineers: Martijn de Waard, Anke Schreiber, Aapo Virtanen.
What we log
Edge nodes keep request metadata: timestamp, node, client IP, request path, status code, bytes served, User-Agent string. Access logs roll to origin storage weekly and are deleted after 30 days, unless a regulator or an abuse case asks us to hold them longer.
We do not log payload content. The body of a GET response is whatever you uploaded; the body of a request is dropped after the routing decision.
Our role in your privacy
We are a processor of cached bytes, not a controller of your users' data. Privacy questions about a bucket go to whoever uploaded it.
Abuse and DMCA
Abuse reports go to abuse@global-static-assets.media — put the URL in the mail and say what is wrong. First reply within two working days. Infringing material goes offline first and gets argued about afterwards.
Acceptable use
No malware distribution, no CSAM, no proxying of somebody else's paywalled content. We take buckets offline rather than whole accounts, so one bad tenant should not break anyone else's site.
Jurisdiction
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in Rotterdam.
